Exosomes

Exosomes are nanosized extracellular vesicles released by cells as part of their secretome. They carry proteins, lipids, and RNA molecules that enable direct communication between cells. In regenerative medicine, exosomes are studied for their ability to deliver bioactive cargo that stimulates repair and modulates inflammation.

While conditioned media contains exosomes along with many other soluble factors, exosomes themselves are a subset of the secretome, representing the most structured and targeted form of intercellular signaling.

Nanoparticle tracking analysis performed in-house showed that the exosome content of s4S SOLUTION™ is substantially higher than that of several widely used exosome products. The detected particles were also smaller, a profile linked to enhanced communication between skin cells.
